Watoto Children’s Choir Live at Moonee Ponds Baptist Church
We are thrilled to announce that the internationally acclaimed Watoto Children’s Choir will be joining us for a special morning of worship on Sunday, 27 September at Moonee Ponds Baptist Church.
About the Watoto Children’s Choir
The Watoto Children’s Choir features children from Uganda who have experienced severe poverty or lost loved ones. Through vibrant praise, energetic dance, and personal testimonies, these young ambassadors travel globally sharing a message of hope, transformation, and joy.
Their international tours help raise awareness and vital financial support for vulnerable women and children across Africa. The ministry provides holistic care through Watoto Villages, offering secure housing, quality education, medical care, and spiritual mentorship.
Worship Service and Shared Community Lunch
Everyone in our local community and church family is welcome to attend this inspiring event.
Following the service, we will host a shared community lunch in honour of the choir cast and crew. It will be a fantastic opportunity to sit down together, share a meal, and show the team some warm hospitality.
